全国肉牛事業協同組合さん、日本養豚協会さん等からの抗議と謝罪の要求が出された。

　信じられなかった。がっかりした。我々は、日本畜産振興の同志・仲間ではないのか？　仲間が仲間を叩いてどうするのか？　全国肉牛事業者共同組合さんからは、Ｈ２０年に開催された「２０周年記念行事」のとき、出席を依頼され、東京の会場に足を運ばせて頂いたことがある。


　抗議文の中に「口蹄疫発生の初動対策の稚拙さ・・・・・・」とあるが、我々は第一例目が確認された直後、即座に対策本部を立ち上げ、国が示している防疫指針に忠実に従い、迅速に防疫措置に取り組んで来た。恐らく、全国どこの地区で発生してもこの指針に則って防疫措置がなされたであろう。
